Exploring a family trunk, Mim evokes eight female ancestors she had known growing up. Through the NationalGeographic Genographic Project and her own computer, she conjures a prehistoric entity. These nine ephemeral women disrupt Mim’s life and perceived sanity as the ten of them wander their respective histories and the caves of northern Spain.
Leaping across 12,000 years, they land in their own depths and glimpse the seamless nature of time and existence.
